Invitation to the Inauguration of the Viscaria Water Treatment Plant

We invite you to the inauguration of Viscaria’s new water treatment plant on October 22. The facility combines sand filtration and ion exchange technology on a large scale – a key milestone in the reopening of the Viscaria copper mine.

Developed in collaboration with Finnish company Teollisuuden Vesi, the plant can treat up to 1,000 cubic metres of water per hour.

Please note: No cars are allowed on the driveway to or in front of the Water Treatment Plant. Buses need free access to enter and turn around.

There will be a bus available from the main parking area to the Water Treatment Plant.
