Dear Participants,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to European Border Dialogues taking place in the High North of Norway. The conference will be hosted by the Norwegian Barents Secretariat together with the NEEBOR network.
European Border Dialogues/NEEBOR Conference 2012 will take place in the town of Kirkenes, close to the Russian border during 6 – 7 February 2012
We invite politcians, NGOs, academics and organizations active in cross-border cooperation. Cross-border cooperation has historically played an important role in promoting European integration. By involving local citizens and communities in working together across borders, such cooperation represents a crucial bottom-up element focusing on European neighbourhood policies.
The main goal of the conference “European Border Dialogues” is to stimulate new developments in cross-border cooperation in a wider Europe. We will share our Barents Experience with you together with NEEBOR network.
